“Where Have You Been?” visits The Janus Galleries

The lat­est edi­tion of VCRa­dio’s orig­i­nal series on things to do and places to vis­it across the Sec­ond Life Grid, vis­its The Janus Gal­leries. The show pre­mieres on Jan­u­ary 26th and airs at 12 noon and 4pm Pacific/SLT, that’s 8pm and mid­night in the UK. It’ll run on Wednes­days and Sun­days at the same times for the next two weeks.

“Where Have You Been?” Begins a New Season

“Where Have You Been?” is an orig­i­nal Vir­tu­al Com­mu­ni­ty Radio series, host­ed by Cale­do­nia Sky­tow­er and Elrik Mer­lin. In each episode, released every two weeks, we look at places to vis­it and things to see and do around the Sec­ond Life grid.

This week, from Wednes­day, Jan­u­ary 12th, we’re start­ing the sec­ond sea­son of “Where Have You Been?”, mark­ing a full year of broad­casts. In Sea­son 2, Episode 1, we look at For­ev­er Tourist: a Sec­ond Life Explo­ration Game, which encour­ages and rewards your explo­rations on the grid. You start off by acquir­ing a Pass­port, and hav­ing done so, you trav­el the grid to par­tic­i­pat­ing loca­tions where you can get a stamp in your pass­port, and some­times free gifts. All kinds of places are fea­tured and the list of par­tic­i­pat­ing loca­tions is up to around 400.

Where Have You Been? visits Let It Snow! — A Winter Wonderland

In Episode 22 of “Where Have You Been?” — the final episode of 2021 — we vis­it “Let It Snow!” — a beau­ti­ful win­ter region cre­at­ed by artist Mil­ly Sharple. Beau­ti­ful­ly detailed and laid out, there are a great many attrac­tions here. It’s described as “A snowy, win­ter set­ting for danc­ing and romanc­ing. Come and explore, dance, ice-skate, take pho­tographs, or just hang out.

Where Have You Been? visits Theatre On The Hill

Come with us now to The­atre On The Hill — a venue that is much more than that — in Episode 21 of our pop­u­lar orig­i­nal series, “Where Have You Been?”, where Cale­do­nia Sky­tow­er and Elrik Mer­lin dis­cov­er fas­ci­nat­ing places to go and things to do around the Sec­ond Life Grid.

A Tale of Two Galleries

Pre­mier­ing on Wednes­day, Novem­ber 10th, at 12 noon and 4pm Pacific/SLT, 8pm and mid­night in the UK, Episode 20 of our Sec­ond Life trav­el show “Where Have You Been?“fea­tures two very dif­fer­ent art gal­leries in Sec­ond Life, yet pur­su­ing sim­i­lar goals of access to both artists and res­i­dents: The Love&Love Fac­to­ry Art Gallery and The Elven Falls Art Collective.

Where’ve You Been? 15 visits Art Korner SL

Wednes­day Sep­tem­ber 1st — and Episode 15 of our pop­u­lar twice-month­ly  orig­i­nal series about things to do and places to vis­it around the Sec­ond Life grid, “Where’ve You Been?”,  this time vis­its Art Korner SL.

Art Korner SL focus­es on art and pho­tog­ra­phy show­cased in-world across all dif­fer­ent gen­res and forms. They seek to cov­er art gal­leries, art projects, pho­to­genic regions and many oth­er activ­i­ties through con­tent which is orig­i­nal, infor­ma­tive and entertaining.

Where’ve You Been 13: The SLEA Bridge Project

Wednes­day, August 4th sees the pre­miere of a brand new episode in our series “Where’ve You Been?”, where we look at things to do and places to see in and around the Sec­ond Life Grid.

In Episode 13 we vis­it The Bridge Project, at the Sec­ond Life Endow­ment for the Arts (SLEA).

Where’ve You Been 12: The Borderless Project

Wednes­day, July 21st sees the pre­miere of a brand new episode in our series “Where’ve You Been?”, where we look at things to do and places to see in and around the Sec­ond Life Grid.

In Episode 12 we vis­it The Bor­der­less Project, an inter­ac­tive dig­i­tal art exhi­bi­tion that explores light: reflec­tions, struc­tures, move­ment, cre­ation and evo­lu­tion. The Project spans mul­ti­ple lev­els in a vari­ety of iter­a­tions that explore the theme using a wide palette of vir­tu­al tools. There are also sounds and music to aug­ment the visu­al experience.
