Tarot @ Teatime — Episode 29: 1, 2 and 3‑card readings

Willow is taking a break from the show, so Honey is joined by Elrik Merlin as co-presenter.

In this episode, they discuss the use of 1, 2 and 3‑card readings — and why and when you’d choose one of these over the larger spreads. These are relatively simple spreads — but you don’t always need a grand tableau or even a 9‑card spread every time you read. And a 3‑card spread can pack a lot of information into just those three cards.

They also touch on Tarot Year and Birth cards.

Hits In Hi-Fi

Today — Wednesday 30th March — we’ll take a nostalgic journey back to the 1950s and 1960s and beyond, when music was on vinyl (don’t touch the playing surface!) and home audio was new and excitingly futuristic… with Hits In Hi-Fi.

In the early days of stereo, a significant number of albums were released that were designed especially to show off the wonders of this new way of presenting musical entertainment. Sounds “ping-ponged” across the stereo soundstage; instruments appeared hard on one side and then hard on the other… and there were a lot of space references, bloops and bleeps starting and ending the pieces — and once the Moog Synthesiser became available, that was included in the mix too.

Where Have You Been? — Ribong Gallery Artspace

In the latest episode of Where Have You Been?, our original series on places to visit and things to do around the Second Life Grid, we visit the Ribong Gallery Artspace, where noted artist Haveit Neox has a new exhibition, along with other artists. This episode will be available on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 12 noon and 4pm Second Life Time for the next two weeks.

Ancient Journeys

Today, join us on a journey across the Ancient World, guided by the ancient and mysterious Piri Reis Map.

We visit Ancient Greece, Rome and beyond to encounter the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. We rediscover lost Atlantis, the ancient civilisations of South America, cross the Pacific and even travel to Antarctica and the Moon.

Everyday reality fades away, and Jack finds himself in a strange, other-world of magic, pirates, and sorcery where huge puffballs cling to ceilings and walls, masted sailing ships with wings fly the skies and islands float in the air…
