Friday 22nd: Elrik Merlin At Fantasy Faire’s Fairechylde
The fourteenth Fantasy Faire, in aid of the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life, is now open, with some amazing fantasy regions and a whole lot of partying! In that latter vein, on Friday, April 22nd at 1pm Second Life Time, join VCRadio’s Elrik Merlin for two hours of classic rock, at The Fairchylde, the Fantasy Faire flying ship party venue.

“Tarot @ Teatime” — LIVE!

The presentation starts at 1pm SLT/9pm in the UK and focuses on “layering” in Tarot reading — enhancing your Tarot reading skills by using additional decks in parallel with your main one.

In episode 29, Honey and Elrik discuss the use of 1, 2 and 3‑card readings — and why and when you’d choose one of these over the larger spreads. These are relatively simple spreads — but you don’t always need a grand tableau or even a 9‑card spread every time you read. And a 3‑card spread can pack a lot of information into just those three cards. They also touch on Tarot Year and Birth cards.

Virtual Community Radio at SL18B
VCRadio is going to a party — the biggest party on the Second Life grid. We’ll be at the Second Life 18th Birthday celebration — SL18B — opening June 17 and running through July 1st.
We’ve set up headquarters on SLB Astonish, and our plans include a special edition of the monthly new age music show The Grove, special live presentations of our signature features Tarot @ Teatime and Where Have You Been? plus a fun trivia treasure hunt right at VCRadio SLB Headquarters!
Genre Day: Music of the Baroque
Today, Saturday February 6th, we explore the music of the Baroque era. We’ll be including the work of a wide range of composers. Many will be familiar; other perhaps less so — or they may have written pieces that we know well but have no idea of who composed them — for example English composer Thomas Arne, who wrote Rule Britannia but also a range of other pieces which deserve more interest than is usually paid to them.
