November’s edition of First Sunday — broadcast live on November 8th at 2pm Pacific Time ( yes, we know it’s not the actual first Sunday) “Cosmic Sunset” will present over an hour of the very best of British Progressive Rock — “Prog Rock.” Selections will be mainly from the 1970s, and include both familiar and unfamiliar tracks. Elrik Merlin will play the tracks back to back without interruption, and provide a list of songs at the set’s conclusion.
To hear the show live, tune in to events.vcradio.org or http://live.na2.lightmanstreams.com:8500 at 2pm Pacific Time/SLT on Sunday, November 8th. In Second Life, join us at Sanctuary, in the Asylum Lobby. If you miss it or would like to enjoy it again, this show will appear on Mixcloud soon.
About First Sundays: At VCRadio, we believe Sunday afternoons are the perfect time to treat yourself to something special, and we invite you to join us on the First Sunday (usually) afternoon of each month as we present a different musical treat: around an hour of music on a theme. It could be anything — new age music, orchestral classics, soundtracks, or music celebrating a particular culture.
About Sanctuary in Second Life: Founded in 2008, Sanctuary, long celebrated for its award-winning historical roleplay, has evolved into a vibrant cultural space for art, photography, dance, music, and theater—welcoming global gatherings and creativity without borders.
