Where Have You Been? S05E01 — Back to Where We Began

We are pleased to announce the start of a new season — Season 5 — of our twice-monthly series where we report on things to do and places to visit around the Second Life grid. We are celebrating the opening of the new season by going back to the beginning — where we started with Season 01, Episode 01 — the Second Life Endowment for the Arts known as the “SLEA.” This programme will air on Saturdays and Wednesdays until May 21st, at 12 noon and 4pm SLT/Pacific Time.
And don’t miss “Engines of Our Ingenuity” — presented by the University of Houston: the series about the machines that make our civilization run and the people whose ingenuity created them. The programme is broadcast every 4 hours from 4am Pacific on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
We’ve never actually taken a look at the larger Endowment activities since 2021 when the SLEA launched. A lot has happened, changed, and evolved since then, and this new season is a great opportunity to revisit it and highlight, not just what residents can find when exploring its several regions, but how residents can get involved with creativity through the SLEA.
The show will give you some pointers and suggestions of what to look out for, starting from the Pavilion in the centre of SLEA Region 1. Now it’s May when we are broadcasting this episode, and most of the current projects will only be open a little while longer, before they are rolled over to the next group of projects in July. And there are a lot of interesting projects to explore.
And you need not limit yourself to being a consumer of creativity: you can be a creator as well. The SLEA accepts proposals for project grants throughout the year.
Home Region: SLEA1 – Moderate
