Coming Nov 6: The MOST — Music from the Original Sound Track
Planning a heist? How about a murder? Attending a love-in? Or is your biker gang planning an outing? Have we got the show for you!
Join your host Susannah, on Virtual Community Radio, Saturday, November 6th, at 12:30pm and 4:30pm Pacific Time – for this week only, that’s 7:30pm and 11:30pm in the UK – for the first show in a new monthly series, The MOST – Music from the Original Sound Track. Dedicated to crime, spy, suspense, exploitation, and psychedelic movie and television soundtracks from the 50s, the 60s and beyond, The MOST is the best accompaniment for all your police-blotter high-jinks.
Susannah will be spinning sounds by some of the best composers in the crime-jazz business. Like Lalo Schifren, John Barry, Elmer Bernstein, and Kenyon Hopkins. You’ll hear music from great TV shows like The Man From Uncle, Staccato, and Mannix – as well as cool movies, like Bullitt, Modesty Blaise and, of course, the James Bond series.
Tune in Saturday November 6th at 12:30pm and 4:30pm Pacific Time – and after that, the first Saturday in the month at the same time – for The MOST – Music from the Original Sound Track! On Virtual Community Radio. Music so good – it’s criminal!
We will be running a programme of movie and TV music — “Saturday At The Movies” — on the first Saturday in the month, to coincide with new episodes of The MOST.
