Wel­come to Where Have You Been Sea­son Six! This episode will be broad­cast  at 12 noon and 4pm SLT/Pacific Time on Wednes­days and Sat­ur­days from June 10th.

We won’t spend a lot of pre­cious time mar­veling at the won­der of the sixth year of us doing this togeth­er, for our Vir­tu­al Com­mu­ni­ty Radio lis­ten­ers. Even after all this time, there’s still so much to explore on the Sec­ond Life Grid. That’s the best part of it. So let’s dig in!

We’re begin­ning this new sea­son with a des­ti­na­tion that com­bines a lot of dif­fer­ent appeal­ing ele­ments: explo­ration, cosy nich­es to linger in, and sub­tle nods to var­i­ous ele­ments of fan­ta­sy and fic­tion. We are vis­it­ing Mulafell, the cap­i­tal of the four-region Mulashire. The McGre­gor-Mid­night Fam­i­ly gen­er­ous­ly make their lands avail­able to res­i­dents, includ­ing the regions Mulaness, Mula­hope, and Mularune.

There are many love­ly cel­e­bra­tions of Mid­dle Earth in Sec­ond Life. Lovers of the lore of J.R.R. Tolkien can cer­tain­ly find plen­ty of places to appeal to their inner Elf or Hob­bit. But Mulafell has a great deal more than just that, includ­ing a train and boat rides. The cre­ators have done a ter­rif­ic job of cre­at­ing visu­al car­rots to fol­low, always lead­ing you to more. It is a delight­ful des­ti­na­tion to explore either on your own or with a friend.
