First Sundays: Music On A Theme

Sunday afternoons! One of the best times of the week to relax, share time with friends and family, and reward yourself for successfully traversing another week.
At Virtual Community Radio, we believe Sunday afternoons are the perfect time to treat yourself to something special. That’s why we invite you to join us at 2pm SLT/Pacific Time on the First Sunday afternoon of each month as we present a different musical treat: one hour of music on a theme. It could be anything from new age music, orchestral classics, soundtracks, or music celebrating a particular culture. First Sundays may even broadcast from a live event we present in Second Life. You’ll never know unless you tune in.
Wondering what the next musical treat will be? Follow us on Primfeed, Facebook, and this web site, and join the Virtual Community Radio group in-world to stay up-to-date on station news and programming.

Where Have You Been? S05E02 — Raglan Shire Art Walk

In the second programme of our new season, we pay a visit to an event that, while quite well-known, is deserving of more attention: the Raglan Shire Art Walk. This programme will air on Saturdays and Wednesdays until June 11th, at 12 noon and 4pm SLT/Pacific Time.
And don’t miss “Engines of Our Ingenuity” — presented by the University of Houston: the series about the machines that make our civilization run and the people whose ingenuity created them. The programme is broadcast every 4 hours from 4am Pacific on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Where Have You Been? S05E01 — Back to Where We Began

We are pleased to announce the start of a new season — Season 5 — of our twice-monthly series where we report on things to do and places to visit around the Second Life grid. We are celebrating the opening of the new season by going back to the beginning — where we started with Season 01, Episode 01 — the Second Life Endowment for the Arts known as the “SLEA.” This programme will air on Saturdays and Wednesdays until May 21st, at 12 noon and 4pm SLT/Pacific Time.
