This Month: Cel­e­brat­ing Summer!

Don’t you just love sum­mer? The sun­shine (can you have too much?). The  scents of the great out­doors, and fla­vors fresh from the gar­den?  This month The Mag­ic of the Musi­cal goes al fres­co in the scenic Gar­dens at Angel Manor — The Rose The­atre with a pic­nic bas­ket brim­ming over with dif­fer­ent cel­e­bra­tions of sum­mer from the musi­cal the­ater stage.

Host Cale­do­nia Sky­tow­er explores how the joy of high sum­mer days shine as we approach the final days of sum­mer 2023. Whether it is “Too Darn Hot” or “Our Last Sum­mer” the sun­ni­est sea­son is well rep­re­sent­ed in songs on stage. Join Cale  in Sec­ond Life or on-the-air on Vir­tu­al Com­mu­ni­ty Radio.

The Mag­ic of The Musi­cal explores the blend­ing of music and dra­ma — fea­tur­ing the songs, his­to­ry, and lore that make up the musi­cal the­ater canon. Learn more about some of your favorite shows and com­posers as we cue the orches­tra, and the over­ture begins.
