Tarot @ Teatime Episode 38: The Haughty Swords
Tune in for the latest episode of our original series, “Tarot @ Teatime” as we discuss the suit of Swords.
When Pamela Coleman Smith designed the cards we now know as the Rider-Waite-Smith deck, she was influenced by an early pack, the Sola Busca, that she saw pictures of in the British Museum. This influence is particularly noticeable in the suit of Swords.
However the result of this influence is that the imagery of the Sword cards in RWS and later RWS-derived decks can be found a little misleading to the reader.
In Episode 38 we work through the cards, discussing their imagery and how they may be read in a way that is true to their character, focusing on words and communication.
“Tarot @ Teatime” is broadcast on Thursdays and Sundays at noon and 4pm SLT/Pacific Time, that’s 8pm and midnight UK time.

Where Have You Been? S02E15: Hello Kitty Tribute
In this episode of our original series, “Where Have You Been?” we visit the 4- region “Hello Kitty” tribute theme park on the Astralia regions. Hello Kitty is the little adorable white cat character who is numbered among the highest grossing media franchises of all time.
Astralia Creations is a clothing and décor creator in Second Life, featuring a wide variety of products, many of which feature a graphic style and color palette similar to the popular Japanese character Hello Kitty and the additional characters that make up the Hello Kitty brand.
Hello Kitty is a prominent part of the cuteness culture, or kawaii aesthetic, of Japanese popular culture which includes entertainment, clothing, food, toys, personal appearance, and mannerisms. In Kitty’s world there are at least ten characters, including Kitty herself, and a host of other objects and details in that world’s signature simple style.
This episode airs on Wednesdays and Saturdays from July 27 to August 6 inclusive.

The Space Programme: Apollo 11
Today we present something a little different… Space Music and a space documentary.
On this day, July 23, in 1969, 53 years ago, the Apollo 11 spacecraft returned to Earth after the first human being had stepped out of the Apollo 11’s Lunar Excursion Module and set foot upon the Moon a few days before. Today we celebrate that achievement in music.

Tarot @ Teatime — Episode 36: Binary Readings
Normally we would suggest that readers use at least a 3‑card spread with their querents, as these can give a surprising amount of information.
However there are times and circumstances where a querent or a reader needs a quick yes/no answer.
These “binary” readings can be carried out with one or two cards, or you can start with one or two and expand the reading with an added combination to give more detail.
We look at methods of carrying out binary and combination readings, and provide examples.
The episode goes out on Thursdays and Sundays at 12 noon and 4pm Pacific/SLT.
