Where Have You Been? — S05E04: Sugarfish Artist’s Village

The lat­est episode of “Where Have You Been?”, our reg­u­lar fea­ture on things to do and places to vis­it across the Sec­ond Life grid, fea­tures Sug­arfish Artist’s Vil­lage, which offers indi­vid­ual spaces for Sec­ond Life artists to dis­play their work, as well as a flex­i­ble cen­tral exhi­bi­tion space. In addi­tion to the oppor­tu­ni­ties for art, the area includes games; a beach and all that comes with fish­ing, rock climb­ing, and a cafe. There’s a gen­er­ous par­ty deck and sev­er­al loca­tions suit­able for danc­ing. Vis­i­tors are invit­ed to pour a glass of wine and gath­er ‘round the fire on the dock with friends.

There is an art walk through the vil­lage, with four images on dis­play per fea­tured artist; and there are artists stu­dios for rent in the form of ship­ping con­tain­ers that have been raised off the sand and pro­vid­ed with their own decks.

The pro­gramme airs on Wednes­days and Sat­ur­days at 12 noon and 4pm Sec­ond Life/Pacific Time on  July 9, 12, 16, 19 and 23.
