We present… The Magic of The Musical!
Saturday April 16th at 2pm Pacific/SLT, 10pm in the UK, sees the premiere of a new original series on Virtual Community Radio: “The Magic of The Musical.” This monthly program explores musical theatre: the shows, history, and lore presented live on Virtual Community Radio from the VCRadio Theater on Chestnut Hills, in Second Life. Every month, your host Caledonia Skytower spotlights a different show or creative personality from the musical theatre canon. The first episode, Tilting At Windmills, highlights Man of La Mancha, with music from several different productions. You can tune into the show on the air or join the audience in the VCRadio Theater. Here’s a taste of what’s to come…

The Incredible Adventures of Jack Flanders — Part 5
Tune in for the latest episode of our exciting radio serial from our friends at ZBS Foundation: The Incredible Adventures of Jack Flanders! There are 10 half-hour episodes, one every Friday at noon and 4pm Pacific/SLT.
THE INCREDIBLE ADVENTURES OF JACK FLANDERS
In the dead of night, a large shipping crate is delivered to the home of our hero Jack Flanders. Opening the crate, Jack discovers a green velvet overstuffed chair. Each night at the stroke of midnight, Jack sits in the soft, comfortable chair which comes alive, luring him onto its velvety realm. Everyday reality fades away, and Jack finds himself in a strange, other-world of magic, pirates, and sorcery where huge puffballs cling to ceilings and walls, masted sailing ships with wings fly the skies and islands float in the air…
Tarot @ Teatime — Episode 30: 3‑card spreads & layering
In this episode, Honey Heart and Elrik Merlin continue their discussion of 3‑card spreads by looking at the many ways in which this simple but informative spread can be used, assigning different interpretations to the cards that appear in the three positions of the reading, such as “Past/Present/Future” and “Mind/Body/Spirit”.
We’ll talk about how these spreads can be used effectively to assist in personal development, and we’ll talk about how to enhance these spreads by using the “layering” technique — adding cards from other decks to a reading. We’ve mentioned the layering technique before, but we’ll go into quite a lot more depth here.
Episode 30 premieres on Thursday April 14th at 12 noon and 4pm /SLT Pacific Time (8pm and midnight in the UK) and is repeated at the same times on Sundays and Thursdays until April 24th.
“Tarot @ Teatime” — LIVE!
Today, Sunday 10th April, join Honey Heart and Elrik Merlin, the hosts of our original series, “Tarot@Teatime”, for a live presentation at the popular PaganFest festival at Covenstead in Second Life. https://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Covenstead/162/161/1471
The presentation starts at 1pm SLT/9pm in the UK and focuses on “layering” in Tarot reading — enhancing your Tarot reading skills by using additional decks in parallel with your main one.
Whether you’re a professional Taromancer or just starting out, you should find this presentation of interest.
