Sea­son 2 of Vir­tu­al Com­mu­ni­ty Radio’s orig­i­nal series “The Mag­ic of The Musi­cal” con­tin­ues this Sat­ur­day, May 20th, at 2pm SLT/Pacific Time, live from its home in the Gold Hall at the ele­gant Angel Manor Estate.

“The Mag­ic of The Musi­cal” explores the blend­ing of music and dra­ma with host Cale­do­nia Sky­tow­er, fea­tur­ing the songs, his­to­ry and lore that make up the musi­cal the­ater canon.

Spring is here, and in the Eng­lish-speak­ing world we look to New York and Lon­don as the respec­tive Mec­cas of the­ater. With the Olivi­er Awards already held last month, and both the Dra­ma Desk and Tony Awards com­ing up in the next 30 days, Cale­do­nia explores the musi­cal shows that are being rec­og­nized as out­stand­ing in this year’s awards season.
